We are a family-run bar and restaurant in a bright, glass-fronted room on Stratford Marina, with narrowboats moored on one side and Clopton Bridge on the other. Light pours in all day, dogs are as welcome as their owners, and lunch has a habit of drifting on a little longer than planned.

The cooking is Mediterranean and made for sharing. Hummus and charred flatbread, lamb kofta, croquettes, our classic souvlakis and burek, spread across the table mezze-style. If you are short on time, our flying lunch puts a quick, fresh plate in front of you on weekday lunchtimes, and the pre-theatre menu gets you fed and out in good time for the show.
Handcrafted cocktails, a wine list we chose ourselves and alcohol-free cocktails that get as much love as the boozy ones. In summer the terrace comes into its own: an Aperol spritz or a cold glass of rosé in the sunshine while the marina goes about its day. Weekend brunch comes with a bottomless option if you fancy it.

At the weekend we open for brunch, with a bottomless option if you are making a morning of it. And when the sun is out the terrace opens too: spritzes, cold rosé and plates to pick at while the boats come and go.

Guests keep coming back to the setting: a table on the terrace with a glass of rosé, the marina in front of you and the quiet end of the canal beyond. Many call it the nicest spot in Stratford to sit by the water.
